In Austria, 312 new Corona infections have been reported from Sunday to Monday. Yesterday there were 332, on Saturday 349 cases, according to figures from the Ministry of Interior and Health.
Hospital occupancy of covid patients has risen slightly to 117 patients currently, after a steady downward trend last week (99 patients on Sunday). Thirty-one patients are in intensive care units.
Three deaths have been reported in the past seven days, and the pandemic has claimed a total of 10,732 lives in Austria since the outbreak. 641,222 people have recovered since the pandemic began, and 271 people were considered healthy again within the past 24 hours.
The seven-day incidence in Austria was 28.9 cases per 100,000 population.
Most full-immune cases in Burgenland
In percentage terms, the number of fully immunized people is highest in Burgenland (55.4 percent), followed by Vorarlberg (54.5 percent), Lower Austria (52.5 percent), Salzburg (48.5 percent), Carinthia (47.9 percent), Tyrol (47.4 percent), Styria (46.3 percent), Vienna (45.8 percent) and Upper Austria (45.2 percent). The largest difference between the number of people with the first vaccination and the number of fully immunized people is in Styria – 12.4 percent of people have not had a second vaccination or are still waiting for part two of the vaccination – the smallest difference is in Vorarlberg, with 2.8 percent.
